Coda's Cold-Mount® motorized laminators perform a wide variety of mounting tasks, from simple pressure sensitive mounting to overlaminating. The motorized option allows for volume mounting and greater control over the lamination process.

The motorized laminator features a proven solid state speed control. Roller speed can be varied by turning a dial on the motor control box and is operated by a switch on the box or by the included foot pedal. The machine also has an infrared shutoff. Roller movement is stopped when the pulsed infrared beam is broken. Operation is resumed by a photocell reset switch. The machines are available with silicone coated rollers. The silicone rollers will reject any exposed adhesive.

Coda's Cold-Mount® hand-operated laminators perform the same mounting and laminating tasks as the motorized version. The main difference is that the machine is powered by a hand crank positioned on the right side of the machine. This laminator is good for those businesses doing a small volume. The hand operated model is available up to 34".

As with the motorized laminators, these machines have separate adjustments for material thickness and roller pressure. The first adjusts the space between the rollers, up to 2" wide. The second adjustment controls the pressure by varying the compression of the springs that "load" the top roller. This feature is particularly important when using overlaminate films, which need considerably more pressure than simple mounting.
