  Smooth Overlam

Coda, inc. offers 4 smooth overlams. The 3 laminates in the first chart all have heavy poly coated paper release liners. Glossy Overlam provides a high gloss surface. Lustre Overlam is a semi-gloss laminate that breaks the heavy reflections that a glossy surface creates in a high-key situation. Matte Overlam provides a very dull surface that eliminates reflection on the print surface. It also diffuses the image providing a "soft focus" effect. Elam is a smooth semi-gloss laminate designed to write on with dry-erase markers. The marker ink wipes clean without leaving a "ghost" image behind.

• Glossy (Poly) Overlam provides an extra-smooth high gloss surface. It has a plastic release liner that is smoother than a paper liner. This yields a flatter result that minimizes "orange peel" in the final product.
  

• Cold-Mount® Pressure Sensitive Overlam Rolls -Textured Overlam

There are three textured overlams available. Canvas Overlam is a deep canvas cloth pattern. Stipple Overlam provides a fine dot pattern that reduces glare without degrading image sharpness.

• Lexan is a very hard textured polycarbonate laminate that provides an extremely durable scuff resistant surface. It is 5 mils thick and provides excellent protection from UV light. It is often used in high-traffic situations such as trade show graphics. It provides a durable, glare-free surface.
